Singnet DC Problems

      Recently my singnet keeps on DC !

      i am connecting my laptop via wireless to my 2Wire Mio Router . coz i recently re-contract my internet as my previous 2wire router broke up and the MIO 2Wire router comes free with it .

      Recently my internet connection keeps dc n reconnecting back after awhile . when i click on my firefox browser , it shows the error the my phone line has disruptions and it tells me to plug in the DSL filter which i alrdy did . nevertheless i replace my old filters with new 1s . but the problem keeps bugging me still. i went to the singnet webbie which ask me to d/l the Singnet Smartfix.exe program but it doesnt seem to do any good.

      Any pple out there facing the same problem ? or haf any  idea wats going on or solutions?

      Please advise ~

      I'm using Singnet and recently dun experience any problems.. You change the filters still got problem should be the phone line liao not the connection.

      but my phone got no problem calling in n out leh . FYI my internet phone line is the sub line . my house main line which is another different number GOT problem . like noisy sounds when during calls . i call the singtel pple come n do , do 4 times liaoz still same problem . but the sub-line is working perfectly fine ...

      I think that's the problem.

      There's probably an issue with the way the telephone cabling is done.

      I not telephone expert, someone else can verify.

      connection's on and off even tho signal strength is full and all.. got to keep restarting..

      phone like has super loud static sound when the internet is on

      tinuviel07, did you use the filter provided by Singnet?

      Ajen, how similar is your similar?

      I always DC like every 10-15mins...

      but this kind of DC rarely happen lei..

      now then happen.

      i think singnet have problems la . my fren also same problem. yesterdae i call the singnet helpdesk, he put me on hold for like 20 mins and never return to the line . pek cek . hang up ..

      call them

      ask them send someone to check ur line. my modem 2wire is being exchanged 1 to 1 free of charge

      they say modem problem

      the problem with ADSL is the frequency of the phone line.. Very sensitive.. If your phone line is old and i mean the whole house.. U might need to change the whole thing.. Make sure every phone got a mirco filter attach and get the person to check the frequency of your phone line..

      And if u can call out doesnt mean your internet is ok.. As phone line use analong signal and BB use digital signal i think..

      Please be patient. Waiting 30 minutes is normal.

      The problem could be with the Mio modem itself.

      Mio is still new and they could be bugs.

      Bring your modem for a check, it might help.

       

      Regarding the firefox-shown error, they are just showing possible errors.

      A browser will definitely not know what is going on at the modem side.
